The What Sparks You? Special is a half-hour special about Noggin.com's Noggimation Station. It premiered on both Noggin and Nickelodeon on April 7, 2000. The special was hosted by Bill Nye, who had recently become the on-air spokesman of Noggin.

Hosted by Mr. Nye, "Noggin's What Sparks You Special" is all about what sparks kids' imaginations, from basketball to balancing ballerinas, as illustrated by kids themselves. Bill provides his scientific and humorous musings on the topics kids have chosen in the style he made famous on his Emmy-award winning program "Bill Nye the Science Guy", which premieres on Noggin in September, 2000. After the special's broadcast, viewers will be invited to visit Noggin.com's "Noggimation Station" where they can learn the animation process and design "spark animations" of their very own, some of which will ultimately be featured on the television channel.
