"Sam Digital in the 21st Century!" is a five-minute short film that aired on Noggin as part of two series: Phred on Your Head Show and Out of Your Mind.
It was written by an elementary school student named Nick Claridge, and it was produced by Amy Friedman. It features stop-motion animation by Cuppa Coffee Studios, the same company that made many of Noggin's network ID bumpers.
Story[]
A kid named Sam Digital works as a computer virus detective in the year 2050. When a giant virus monster tries to destroy Internet World, everyone in the future can't do their daily activities, and Sam must go into the digital world to stop the virus once and for all. In the end, Sam realizes she should do more than just surf the web. The film is the creator's message to kids to go outside and enjoy the world's natural beauty.
