Out of Your Mind is a package series that aired on Noggin. It is a showcase of pre-existing short films and artwork made by real kids. It aired during commercial breaks from 1999 to 2002. The series was also shown during episodes of Phred on Your Head Show.
Logline
The package had an official summary on Noggin's programming site, which was:
- "Designed to bring kids' creativity to life onscreen, Out of Your Mind is an award-winning filmmaking series that links kids around the world with filmmakers who help them develop and produce their own 5-7 minute original films. By choosing themes and issues that kids care about (such as heroes, the future, family and fears), Noggin gives kids’ voices and visions a unique showcase from concept to final cut. Action!" (source)
Format
The newer logo from 2002
This interstitial had two formats. The first format was shown from 1999 to 2001, and it featured short films made by kids. The opening sequence features the words "Out of Your Mind" coming out from a photo cut-out of a person's head. A voice then announces that the story "came from the noggin of" a real kid, whose picture is shown.
The second format debuted sometime in 2002. In this format, a piece of art made by a kid is shown instead of a film. The opening sequence was replaced with a tiling orange background.

Some of the shorts were repackaged from Nickelodeon's Show and Tell and Short Films by Short People.
- Sam Digital in the 21st Century! - A short film about a kid who goes inside her computer.
- Benji the Dinosaur - A claymation short about a dinosaur who plays games with different animals.
- Lucy Discovers Her True Self - Another claymation short about a goose who wants to be a singer.
- Petrie the Cat - A third claymation short about a cat who has a dinner party in the winter.
- Rescue Hero - A showcase of a painting that won a cartoon art contest.
