The screen bug
Noggin on Nick was a half-hour block of Noggin shows that aired on the main Nickelodeon channel from March 2000 until June 2001. It was originally called "Noggins Up." The block aired on weekday mornings at 6:30 AM.
Although the block was discontinued in 2001, Nickelodeon continued to air Noggin shows on special occasions afterward. On April 7, 2003, from 12pm to 2pm, Nickelodeon aired new episodes of Oobi, Tweenies and Miffy and Friends during the Nick Jr. block.
History[]
The block debuted on March 27, 2000 with an episode of Phred on Your Head Show. Two other original series, A Walk in Your Shoes and On the Team, were regularly featured on the block. The block featured a special moving graphic in the corner of each show: the Noggin logo (with a flower on top) flipping to reveal the words "on Nick."
The block wasn't the first time that Nickelodeon aired Noggin shows. Earlier, in June 1999, Nickelodeon aired the first episode of Phred on Your Head Show.
