Along with its long-form and short-form shows, the Noggin channel aired a variety of bumpers, station IDs, and commercials that advertised itself and its website. Most of these featured the Noggin logo, which was usually animated in a new way with new symbols on top of it.
The bumpers and commercials are different from short-form series because they were made specifically to advertise Noggin and usually center around the Noggin logo in some way. By comparison, short-form shows like The Whooton Observer and Oobi were "mini" TV shows about unique characters and storylines, not made to promote Noggin.
History[]
Big Blue Dot, the company that designed Noggin's logo and many of its early commercials, described the channel's bumpers in 2001:
- The idea was to package this channel with the same ingredients that a kid might find in their backyard, in their Mom's sewing kit, or by just getting crazy with scraps of felt. Everything from an electric blender to a robot to a firefly in a jar sprouted from the Noggin logo, conveying the message that this was a channel that catered to the way kids think."

Notes[]
- The openings to some of Noggin's package series, like Brain Food and Noggin Boogie, are sometimes mistaken for bumpers. These openings were exclusively made to package old footage that aired on Noggin, unlike bumpers/commercials which were made to promote the channel itself.
