Big Voice is a character in two Noggin series: Phred on Your Head Show and The URL with Phred Show. He is the unseen announcer of both shows. His voice was provided by Doug Preis, who also voiced the host, Phred.
Although Big Voice is never seen in person, Phred comments that he is "fat with an F," which means he is probably overweight. His name is often abbreviated to "BV."

Phred and Big Voice have a love/hate relationship and often make fun of each other when they're trying to host their shows. Even though Big Voice sounds loud and commanding, he's actually a bit self-conscious and can get offended when Phred doesn't let him do things his way.
