The Alpha Teens were the mascots of Noggin's teen block, The N. In between shows, the Alpha Teens talked about which shows were up next. They first appeared in 2004.
The characters were designed by comic book author Adrian Tomine.
Characters
There are 13 known characters who appeared in the Alpha Teens commercials. There are seven girls and six boys. Most of their names are known, but five are unnamed due to their names never being mentioned.
- Karen: An Asian-American girl with short black hair.
- Monica: A Caucasian girl with a goth style, who has black hair in a ponytail.
- Olivia: An African-American girl with black hair who wears hoop earrings.
- Stephanie: A Caucasian girl with long, straight brown hair.
- Unknown girl #1: A Caucasian girl with short blonde hair who wears two hair clips.
- Unknown girl #2: A Caucasian girl with red hair in braided pigtails.
- Unknown girl #3: An African-American girl with curly hair who wears headphones.
- Unknown girl #4: An Asian-American girl with short black hair and lipstick.
- Chuck: A Caucasian boy with a goth style, who has black hair and wears a skull T-shirt.
- Corey: An African-American boy who wears glasses.
- Ed: An African-American boy who wears a green hat.
- Jared: A Caucasian boy with messy blond hair who wears glasses.
- Unknown boy #1: An Asian-American boy with medium-length black hair and a goatee.
- Unknown guy #2: A Caucasian boy with short black hair.
History
In their commercials, the Alpha Teens usually made comments about the shows on The N. Sometimes, they would complain if the show was over. In some bumpers, they would just go about their daily lives at home and school, without mentioning the shows.
