Noggin Wiki

The Noggin channel was mostly known for its original series and for playing reruns from Nickelodeon and Sesame Workshop's archive libraries. However, the channel also aired acquired series: shows from other companies that Noggin didn't produce. Most of these shows were originally acquired by the main Nickelodeon channel and were replayed on Noggin. Since Noggin LLC nor MTV Networks did not own the shows outright, many acquired shows stopped airing on Noggin after Nickelodeon's broadcast rights expired. Despite this, the companies was involved in some shows, but only as a producer and distributor for the US if the main broadcaster for these shows was Noggin.

This page is a list of Noggin's acquired shows. There were almost 50 of them shown on the channel. All images are from Noggin airings or promotions for the shows.

Daytime block[]

These acquired shows aired during the daytime block. From 1999 to 2002, the block was aimed at a general audience of kids aged 2-12. From 2002 onward, it was only aimed at preschoolers.

Notes[]

  • Franklin, Maisy, Degrassi, Miffy and Friends, Tweenies, Connie the Cow and 64 Zoo Lane were all made as Noggin originals specially for the US, maybe because that Noggin was officially considered the main broadcaster for these shows in that country, although Franklin and Maisy previously started airing in the country on Nickelodeon). The shows Miffy and Friends, Tweenies, Connie the Cow and Degrassi were also given "Noggin/The N Original" ending cards when they aired on Noggin. In this case, this signified how they were acquired specially for Noggin, these four shows rather than for both Nickelodeon and Noggin and were also made as Noggin Originals for the US only. These shows were not originally made by or for Noggin, and they are fully owned by outside companies. Airings of these four shows on all other networks don't include any mention of Noggin.
