Megan, a hip chick who lives in a loft in New York City, switches lives with Lacey, a championship horseback rider who lives on a ranch in Oklahoma. Megan performs in a rodeo and Lacey learns how to "pick up" after a dog "does his business". She also rides on a subway, eats French Malaysian food, and gets a snake put around her in Washington Square Park.
Candy Store / Summer Camp
10-year-old Jared Carey switches with grandmother of two Pat Russiano. While he works in her Rehobeth Beach candy factory, she tries life as a kid again as a camper at his Delaware summer camp.
Circus / Suburb
13-year-olds Amanda Thompson and Alexis Ayala trade places: Pennsylvania suburbanite Amanda flies as an aerialist in Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus while Alexis, accustomed to hanging by her hair forty feet in the air, hits the ground as a YMCA day camp C.I.T.

Alaska / Hawaii
Taira, a 12-year old championship surfer and native of Hawaii, switches lives with Ariel, a 12-year old championship dog musher and native of Alaska. Taira mushes, goes ice fishing and snowmobiling. Ariel surfs, hulas, and jumps off a 40-foot cliff into the beautiful Pacific Ocean.

Wheelchair
Jared's a basketball player who's been in a wheelchair his whole life. Jake is a basketball player who's never seen or met a kid in a wheelchair before. For three days, Jake lives Jared's life - goes to school, plays basketball, and gets around...in a wheelchair.
Big Boss / 4th Grader & Candy Store / Summer Camp
In the first segment, Noggin's manager Tom Ascheim switches lives with Samantha, a 9-year old who won Noggin's "A Walk in Your Shoes Sweepstakes". Samantha runs Noggin while Tom goes to Roland H. Lewis elementary school and afterschool gymnastics. The second segment is a repackage of the second short-form episode.
Student / Principal
Dan Prenderville, principal of Fallsburgh Junior High School, switches lives with Schylar, a 7th-grader from Fallsburgh Junior High. Mr. Prenderville sits in classes, sweats in gym, and goes four-wheeling after school. Schylar meets with the Superintendent, supervises the cafeteria staff, and deals with angry janitors.
Military School / Commune
Reuben, a junior high school student from Oak Ridge Military School switches lives with Tucker, a junior high school student from the Arthur Morgan Commune. At the commune, Rueben gets to wear whatever he wants and doesn't have to worry about grades. At military school, Tucker is required to wear a uniform and sleep in a dorm.
Desert / Water
Sarah, a 13-year old who lives on a 40-foot sailboat, switches lives with Peter, a 12-year old who lives in the desert. During her week in the desert, Sarah goes camping, motorcross biking, and wind sailing on a dry lake. Peter spends his week in the water, going sailing, scuba diving, and powerboating.
Cattle Drive / All That
Mark Saul, one of the stars of Nickelodeon's All That, switches lives with Brianna, a home-schooled Cattle Rancher in Montana. She gets a guest role on All That, he brands a cow, and both kids learn to appreciate and respect the other's work.
Religion
In a special one-hour episode, a young Jewish girl named Meredith switches religious camps with Lauren, a Catholic teenager. The two girls learn about each other's beliefs and the traditions of their faiths. They understand their differences, but discover how much they have in common.
? Juvenile Home
Greg, a 12-year old football star from Ohio, is a bit of a troublemaker. He'll spend two days in a juvenile detention center to discover there's nothing cool about being in juvie! Greg goes in thinking that his stay is going to be a fun vacation from school. What he learns is that juvenile detention centers aren't what they're cracked up to be.
Inter-Generational
Amanda's in eighth grade, and Clare - well, Clare hasn't been in school since before Amanda was born, even before Amanda's PARENTS were born! Clare lives in a retirement community, and she learns how much school has changed in the last fifty years. Meanwhile, Amanda hangs out with Clare's friends, and finds out that shuffleboard and hairdresser appointments aren't that bad.
Boy / Girl
Mike plays football, works out and just can't understand girls. Dana dances and gets manicures. This week, they're both trying life as the opposite sex so Dana can do nearly anything boys do, and Mike can finally find out just what it is that girls do when there are no boys around.
Big Family / Only Child
Claudia's an only child and wants to see what it would be like to be part of a big family. So Stephanie takes a break from her seven brothers and sisters to let Claudia take her place. While Stephanie decides whether or not the quiet and privacy is worth the loneliness, Claudia wonders if the companionship is worth all the diapers that she needs to change!

Season 2[]

Mumbai / Boston
Simone and Amrita are separated by an entire planet, but they're both just teenagers at heart. Amrita lives in Bombay, India, and she's coming to Boston, Massachusetts to switch lives with Simone. The weather in Boston has a lot more snow than the weather in Bombay, and the movies in India have a lot more dancing than the movies in America.
Blind
Mike, a snowboarder and soccer player, gets a chance to understand what it's like to not see at all. He spends a day shadowing Rachel, who's been blind since birth. Wearing special lenses to make his vision just like Rachel's, Mike opens his eyes to the fact that being blind doesn't mean being helpless.

Eleven previous "switchees" from season one return for a reunion in New York, hosted by Mark Saul.
? CBS Celebrity
Mark McEwen, CBS Weatherman, is going back to high school, taking math class, and eating in the cafeteria. Christina, a ninth grader, is all set to pick up the slack, taking over his job and even doing the forecast on national TV. The weather is in good hands. Too bad the same can't be said of Mark's Physics homework.
Moscow / NY
East meets West when Theresa, a trend-spotter for Teen People magazine, heads to Moscow, Russia to check out the scene and hang at the mall with Russian kids. Meanwhile, kid journalist Polina from Moscow treks to New York City, scopes out MTV studios, and even goes on a blind date with an American dude.
? Deaf
Nigel's a dancer who can't imagine life without music. So how's he going to cope with living two days as if he's completely deaf? See what happens when Nigel shadows Jerry, a deaf student, and learns how to communicate without talking and how to dance without listening.
? Same Name
Two kids with nothing in common except their names. Tyler A. Larson, meet Tyler A. Larson? Will anything about them be the same? See what happens when the raft-building, dog-owning Tyler fills the shoes of the dirt-bike-riding, cow-washing Tyler.

It's a double switch this week, when two different parents trade places with their kids. Dylan tends to walruses and stingrays, while his dad the marine biologist takes swimming lessons. Across town, Doris the judge plays Duck-Duck-Goose while her daughter Caitlin takes the bench.

Marlyn is Dominican, Elizabeth is Korean, both are daughters of immigrant parents. Although they live in the same city, they have never been exposed to one another's culture. When the girls switch lives, they discover that despite the differences in their cultures, there are many similarities. Both girls have grown up quickly and taken on some of the responsibilities of running their homes.
? Cheerleader Camp / Science Camp
Can a cheerleader build a robot without hurting herself? Can a science student jump, dance and smile all the time? Watch school stereotypes getting turned upside down - maybe do a few backflips - when DiYa the science student heads for cheerleading camp, and Erin the cheerleader pulls up a seat in the lab.
Aaron Carter
13-year-old Nicolas Kolios, an aspiring young performer from New York, likes to sing, act and dance. Nicolas gets the chance to meet, hang out with, and even go on tour with teenage music star Aaron Carter to see what it's really like being a teen pop star.
? Muslim
Nancy, a teenager from Boston, watched a lot of TV after September 11. The news kept talking about the "Muslims" who were responsible for the attacks. Nancy had never met a Muslim person, and she wondered if everything they say about them on the news is true. So she decided to spend some time with Miriam, a Muslim girl from New Jersey. See what happens when the two of them hang out, become friends, and learn that their different religious beliefs don't necessarily make them different people.
Rap / Country
Chris the country singer ditches his cowboy hat and striped shirt for a bucket cap and FUBU, while Naci the MC picks up Chris's guitar and tries strumming for the line-dancers. The boys are ready to discover the life that goes along with the music. When hip-hop trades places with country, there's no telling what will happen!

? Extreme Sports / Traditional Sports
Tyler is a wakeboarder, and he thinks swimming is for grandmas. Chris knows otherwise: he's a swimmer! But he knows that wakeboarding is just showing off - it's not a real sport. So what happens when they trade places? Extreme sports go traditional. Board shorts, meet Speedo.
Body Image
Laura is a cheerleader who has lots of ideas about why other people are overweight: they eat too much, they don't exercise, and they're just plain lazy. Kim is an extremely active high school junior who plays basketball, swims competitively, and is very overweight. In this episode, Laura is made to look one hundred pounds heavier with the help of a special body suit and make-up, and spends some time walking in Kim's shoes.

Jonathan loves singing and dancing, and he has no patience for jocks. Lucky for him, a bunch of jocks are going to wrap their arms around him and slam him to the mat! Jonathan's taking the place of Richie, the captain of the wrestling team, who thinks performers are silly and not real men. Maybe Richie will change his tune after he puts on a shiny satin vest to sing and dance before a full house!

It sounds like a beauty queen's worst nightmare: jumping off a horse and rolling around in the dirt to tie up an angry goat. But hey, to a rodeo star that must be way better than putting on make-up and high heels and parading through a swimsuit competition, right? Find out when Miss Illinois Teen America trades places with the best goat-tying cowgirl in Texas.
Hip Hop / Ballet
To Jessica, dancing is all about having fun. That's why she dances hip-hop. To Daria, dancing is all about discipline, training, and hard work. That's why she dances ballet. You guessed it: Jessica's changing into a tutu and slippers, Daria's trading her leotard for baggy pants and hoop earrings, and they're both taking a dance in each other's shoes.
Teen Parent
Kaitlyn and Justin were once pretty average high school students. And then, Kaitlyn found out she was pregnant. Now, a year-and-a-half later, the couple is struggling with the realities of raising a baby boy. TJ and Sevan are now the couple Kaitlyn and Justin once were. For TJ and Sivan, sex isn't a big deal. Sivan says they're not the kind of kids who would get pregnant anyway. They're from good families and it just wouldn't be right. And even if it did happen to them, they could handle a child. Right?

City mouse and country mouse, together at last! See what happens with small-town D.J. lives it up in the big city and city-slicker Eliot takes it easy in the country. Eliot will see that small towns are anything but boring, while D.J. learns that people can relax and have fun no matter where they're from.

Lamott is a 15-year-old go-cart racer from Philadelphia, PA, who dreams of one-day driving in the NASCAR Winston Cup. Watch Lamott pair up with hotshot NASCAR rookie Jimmie Johnson for the experience of a lifetime. While Lamott can't drive a car yet, he gets a chance to do just about everything else: an all-access pass to the racetrack, and even helping out Jimmie's pit crew.
Homeless
A family from Columbus, Ohio, lives life as a homeless family for a few days in order to witness first hand how people affected by poverty and homelessness feel.

Can bands still be cool if they march? Does anti-spirit mean anti-fun? There's only one way to find out. See what happens when a peppy mascot trades lives with a vehemently anti school-spirit rocker.
? Jordan / America
Jim is a 16-year-old from Greensboro, North Carolina. He's the president of his sophomore high school class, writes for his school newspaper and loves to play handball. Abdulrahman is a 15-year-old who lives in the Middle East in Amman, Jordan. He's hooked on the Iinternet and also enjoys handball and soccer. Though they've never met, both kids are suspicious of each other and their country's policies.
? MC Battle / Debate Team
Chad is a champion debater, and doesn't think defending issues could possibly involve rockin' the mic. Sammy's an up and coming MC who's more interested in the spontaneity of rap than the structure of debate. What will happen when trade in their talents for the unknown?
Living with HIV/AIDS
Tyler is a high-school senior and a starter on his school's football team. He was born with HIV and has been an AIDS activist since he was 5. Hydeia is also an AIDS activist, speaking to teens in high schools across the country. Hydeia has full blown AIDS. Trevor is a healthy high school senior. He does not know anyone with HIV or AIDS and he believes that the virus is easy to catch. After spending 3 days with Tyler and Hydeia, what Trevor discovers about people living with HIV/AIDS will change his life forever.
Girly Girl / Tomboy
Cotillions: reserved, traditional, the perfect formal society party for Kirsten. For extreme sporter Violet, however, this seems a little old-fashioned. See what happens when tomboy Violet trades in her wetsuit for a frilly dress and Southern belle Kristen learns how to get tough.

Reed, an average teen, trades places with David, who lives in the rainforest.
Katrina's Aftermath
In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, a group of five high school students were forced to leave their homes in Metarie, LA and relocate hundreds of miles from each other. This special departs from the show's usual format to showcase how each student's life has changed.
