Summary[]
Each episode is about a minute long and is shot in black-and-white. They feature hand puppets trying to do human tasks, like paint a picture or play the piano.
The series was created by Tim Lagasse, a puppeteer who later directed and starred in Oobi for Noggin. Tim considers A Show of Hands a "predecessor" to Oobi because both shows use bare hand puppets as the main characters. Many of the techniques that Tim used here were carried over to Oobi.
